About Myfanwy

As long as I can remember I’ve had a paintbrush in one hand and a soldering iron in the other. Drawing anything and everything I came in contact with. My early career was deeply engaged with new media, electronics, technology & modifying systems to create experiences with 3 dimensional objects, games & installations. More recently, I have returned to drawing and painting.

My early drawing inspiration took me to art school, and then graduate studies where I received a Masters in Fine Arts. Since then I’ve worked as an artist, an arts administrator, grant writer, a professor, while showcasing my work in exhibitions, galleries and museums around the world. A recipient of numerous awards & residencies & grants including the Toronto Arts Council, the Canada Council for the Arts & the Ontario Arts Council. I reside in Toronto, Canada where I make the daily walk to my studio.
