Title: Boy with Worm Lady
Year: 2026
Size: 40x50 cm / 16x20
Description: This is a reproduction of an original hand painted acrylic painting depicting a young boy, or possibly mystical being stands with a worm lady friend in an empty derelict room. Some leaking of magical colour and shadows are beginning to appear along the edges.
About the series: Delightful in its mysticism and dreamlike alchemy, this painting is part of a series aiming to create new “Tylwyth Teg”, Welsh “fairies” who live in an invisible parallel realm or underground. While sometimes benevolent, they are known to be mischievous. Not quite canon mythological storytelling, connecting this world, with the old world, with the shadow world, and with audience connecting their own experiences to the work.
