Title: Boy with Worm Lady
Canvas size: 40x50x3.81 cm / 16x20x1.5”
Year: 2026
Description: This is an original hand painted acrylic painting on gallery depth canvas with high quality archival & professional grade paints, depicting a young boy, or possibly mystical being standing with a worm lady friend in an empty derelict room. Some leaking of magical colour and shadows are beginning to appear along the edges.
About the series: Delightful in its mysticism and dreamlike alchemy, this painting is part of a series aiming to create new “Tylwyth Teg”, Welsh “fairies” who live in an invisible parallel realm or underground. While sometimes benevolent, they are known to be mischievous. Not quite canon mythological storytelling, connecting this world, with the old world, with the shadow world, and with audience connecting their own experiences to the work.
All purchased original paintings must be picked up from the studio in Toronto’s West End, or courier pickup shipping & insurance arranged by buyer.
